It's pretty much impossible to add extra RAM to a later MacBook Air, because the 8MB of RAM is soldered to the motherboard.
I have a 2019 MacBook Air which frequently runs out of memory. Even new MacBook Air has only 8 MB RAM, but it can now be bought with the M1 or M2, which makes it fly.
Only thing I can think of is to delete the Applications you don't really need and we all have them.
