I have a load of books loaded on my Macbook Pro. How do I get them into my IPAD. Driving me silly as I am sure it is simple but cannot find how.

-Did you purchase them from the iTunes Store > Books?
-Do they show in iBooks on the MBP?

If so, you can simply sync them to the iPad via iTunes when connected, or download them to the iPad directly vis the iBooks app.

-What is the name of what app?

    OK...thanks for the additional information.

Normally if you purchase books, you use the iBooks app on the iPad. If it is not installed, you can download it directly from the App Store on the iPad. If they were acquired some other way, your solution will work.
