Keyboard Not Working Properly

Can anyone explain why the 'A' is not working on my Macbook (unless I hit it really hard)? I don't know if this means I have to get my keyboard replaced or if it's some kind of settings problem. Can someone tell me? I'm running Snow Leopard if that helps.

What exact Macbook model do you have?

Also, did this just happen?

Hi,

Could be just dust/dirt.

There are three parts to a key,
1. the lid with letter number etc.
2. the hinge.
3. the button bubble.

When you press the key does it pop up quickly or is it sluggish?
