I am running a Mac OSX 10.7.5. when I open finder to look for pictures to get to iPhoto Library but I do not find Pictures in the Favorites.
Second question: I am trying to get more memory moving the iPhoto Library to an external hard drive, the question is if I download more pictures, are those pictures going to be save in the external hard drive connected to the time machine.
Is it anything else needs to be done.
Thanks.

Sorry no one got back to you sooner.

-How are you opening a new Finder window?
-What do you mean by Favorites?
-What version of iPhoto?

Yes, if you move your iPhoto Library to an external, and point iPhoto to open that library, all new photos will be added to that library. It isn't recommended to use a Time Machine hard drive for anything other than Time Machine backups. In addition, if that hard drive fails, you don't have a backup of the iPhoto Library. You should have two external hard drives to do what you are asking - one for the iPhoto Library and other files, and the second for your Time Machine backup of the internal and the other external hard drive.
