iphoto hell

Hi I am having difficulty with iphotos, having lost & retreive photos I now want to make the latest iphotos the default one How please??????????

First, what version of OS X have you ? What version of iPhot have you ?

Have you got duplicates in iPhoto , is that the problem ?

OS X 10.4.7, & version 5.0.4 in iphoto. I think I have about 3 lots of iphoto libraries
