Internet speed

I'm suppose to be getting Internet 100 mbps speed

I got speeds of 34.2 download
7.9 upload does this sound right ?

now it's 108 download and 8.3 upload
guess the first speed test was slow because early morning. Now at noon central time it's some better
depends on traffic I guess

Not at all, if your service provider has asked you to pay X amount for a specified internet connection speed via cable, fibre, satellite etc by means of a contract. Then by law they must provide there specified speeds irrespective of there server and exchange loads.
I would keep monitoring this, and if not happy then defiantly keep phoning them.

my main Mac Mini is right beside the router, my laptop in the living room is where the speed is worse. I got a net gear extender in the living room, too. Think the farther away you are from the router, the time of day, and if your on a laptop influences this too.
