Internet connection issues

Hi there can anyone help me i am trying to connect a bigpond wireless Internet USB to my os x when it tries to connect it says network connection cannot be established to the PPP server? Any suggestions thanks

Quick but possibly painful waiting on the end of a telephone would be to call BigPond direct and have them walk you through the process. Is the USB for Ultimate WIFI because the minimum Mac OS version needed is 10.5.8 or later. Do you have the Quick Start Guide that came with the device?
