I cant delete a file, trash empties but file doesn't go away.

I have a flashdrive and when I plug it into my computer it puts a file named Hv␀i␀␀␀ÿ.ÿÿÿ into the trash can. When I click empty trash it will delete everything in the trash except for that file, but it doesn't bring up a warning that it couldn't delete it. When you click "get info" it says it's 0 KB and "you have unknown access". I can't rename the file or drag it onto my computer. I can drag it onto the flashdrive but I don't want it there. I tried two programs called "force empty trash" and "trashit". They both said they were successful at deleting the trash but the file is still there. I have also tried using terminal to empty the trash but that didn't work either. How do I get rid of it?

Check what Format you need it as.
