Hi,

I'm just trying to put together a smart folder that includes all images from two different folders. How may I do this on El Capitan? I strongly suspect the key is to have the right term to replace "Location," but I'm not sure what it'd be.

Thank you.

Hello,

I am not very experienced with Automator/AppleScript, but it sounds like Folder Actions may work for you in this case. You can create the destination folder, then use Automator to create/assign a folder action to each of the two source folders to move files by Kind > Image to the destination folder you made.

Here is a video of what I am talking about: Sort files into folders using Automator on Mac OS X

Would that work for you?
