i have imac mid 2011 and it had high sierra. The machine had to be factory reset when I thought of selling it and that was a mistake. the system update disappeared from the machine, after a long time it got the lion system, but it doesn't let you download anything and safari or others don't work properly/at all. the machine won't let me install mountain lion or anything else, what should I do to get high sierra back up and running? before it worked perfectly, I'm frustrated and can't figure out or find any more information on what to do with the machine. the machine also does not give/open the Apple support page.

I think you will need to upgrade El Capitan first before upgrading that to High Sierra.
You can get the files HERE
