I just purchased a Platinum desktop memory card reader. I am running OS 13.1. My MAC desktop is not recoginizing this external device. I have looked un Finder, disk utility etc. I have no idea what else to try. This device does not show up ANYWHERE on my MAC. I have restarted several times, made sure external hard drive was check marked in Finder to no avail!! I am deeply frustrated as I want to access a micro SD card. I checked for scratches etc and the sd card adapter and the micro sd card looks good.
