2013 Mac air Hard drive Help

Hi I have a 13” mid 2013 Mac air that was running BigSur and wanted to give it to daughter.
I tried to reset in disc utility but have ended up with erasing the wrong partion.
it boots into disk1
So now disk1 is OS X Base System and disk 2 the main disk 251gb has no op system and not highlighted. Seems in disk utility I’ve messed up. Can I get this changed.
