Help Installing Notepad ++

Hello Friends,

I recently moved to Macbook pro M1 and being a developer coming from Windows, Notepad++ was an integral part of my life.
Can someone please guide me on how to get it onto Mac..
Read some info online and tried with Wine Bottler but I'm getting the below error

and https://github.com/Gcenx/WineskinServer The first thread is quite old so things have probably changed.

Maybe finding a native text editor would be easier? I've never used homebrew so can't speak to how well it works.
