Help Updating OS X
Hi there - I am new to this forum and a fairly new Mac user - I have an iMac running OS X 10.4 and I am trying to upgrade to 10.5. The problem for me is this - I am NOT on broadband and the software update is 330Mb - my ISP drops my internet connection every 2 hours - so I loose the update :-( I thought I would be clever and go to apple and download the software as the download function will recover if connection is dropped - so I stayed up all night reconnecting every 2 hours and downloaded. But now I don't know how to install as I am running the operating software I can't remove and re-install etc - gosh I am in a right muddle - can anyone help me? Pleeeeeaaaase
