iMac help

I just bought a new iMac. Can I plug my old PC powered speakers into the headphone jack? Or do I need some special hookup like say to the USB slot?

Can you provide the exact model of the speakers you have? I have Logitech z200 speakers, and in addition to the power plug, another plug is connected directly to the headphone jack on my late 2012 Mac Mini.

They are Creative Gigaworks T20 Series II.
