Formating an SD card on a PowerBook 1400c

Hi All, bought an SD connector for my PowerBook 1400c, inserted 2 gig SD card. Computer only
recognizes 32 MB and then fails to initialize. I want to set this up as my Hard Drive. I only have a
1 gig drive and need at least 2. So how do I go about formatting the SD card and getting the Mac
to recognize it. Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi,

I don't have any experience with that adapter...actually didn't even know it existed! I see you are getting some responses over on the 68kMLA Forums, so hopefully they can help troubleshoot it.
