Hello,

Thanks for previous help; much appreciated.

a. Have created Albums with a zillion photos in them in Google Photos.

Any "easy" way to find Duplicates in them, and subsequently delete them ?

b. Can I download any of these already populated Albums I created in
Google Photos to my Desktop ?

Thanks,
Bob

Hello,

Sorry for the long response time.

Google Photos is based on Picasa, the former image organizer and image viewer. Google discontinued it and went to Google Photos. Unfortunately, some of the functionality, including duplicate finding/removal, were never added to Google Photos. So, it's a purely manual proposition at this point.

How to Remove Google Photos Backup Duplicates?

You can download your Google Photos albums to your computer, as described in Google Photos Help:

Hope that helps,
