I am having problems connecting my G4 (USB 1) and my intel imac (usb 2) to the same printer through a common hub. Can I mix USB 1 and USB 2 in this way?
Thanks

I am not sure. I think the hub needs to be compatible to both USB 1 and 2. Have you tried the connection to see if it works?

Yes. I am trying to connect my G4 (USB 1, I believe) and my Canon Pixma MP510 to a Belkin hub. The hub is connected to my Intel iMac (USB 2). The G4 and the iMac are loaded with the printer drivers and work perfectly when they connected, individually directly to the printer. I would like to avoid changing USB plugs over!

Many thanks

Dave
