Can't run .jar files

Hey everyone.

I've tried to find a solution to this issue for days now however i've come absolutely nowhere. Its been quite frustrating. Im trying to run a .jar file however everything that happens is that it is extracted. Please not that it is not supposed to be extracted. Has anyone had this issue before and if so is there any solution?

Well the issue is sort of the opposite of the first solution however when i tried the second one it fixed it. Thanks
