Can I use Google cloud for photos and contacts?

I'm an Android user (I have a Oneplus 6), but I'm interested in switching to a Xs Max. I have all my contacts and photos in the Google cloud, and I'm not interested in migrating, I just would like to keep using Google photo to store my pics, and also contacts and tasks.

My initial thought is that it won't be a problem, but I want to be sure.

You can definitely setup your Google account on an iPhone, and use it for contacts, email, and photos.
