Hello and welcome.

This is a MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, Two Thunderbolt 3 Ports), correct?

It can be tough to find a compatible adapter for that model's SSD, since it is fairly proprietary. The adapter you linked to may work, but I don't have any experience with these particular SSDs/adapters. I doubt there will be anything less expensive, as it looks like you need the adapter and an additional dock to connect it to with USB or other connections to the PC.

I was able to get it to boot and took a time capsule backup on an external hard drive. Then I factory wiped the Mac and reloaded the backup. I didn’t end up needing the adapter.
