It started when an Epson-ET-5880 joined the work environment. None of the windows or linux machines have trouble printing to any of our printers.
On the MacBook Pro (Monterey) I can print exactly ONCE, then all printers show "offline".
Have tried:
resetting Mac print system
reinstall all print drivers
==> one printout, then all "offline"
power cycling epson
==> no luck
power cycling epson and re-installing printer
==> one printout, then all "offline"
During the "all printers offline" condition, if I delete the printers or reset the print system, then the printers cannot be found for re-installation, unless I doe a MacBook shutdown and power cycle the epson.
Problem is definitely specific to Mac. This is wireless and they are all on the same network.
