I restarted my mac with an Powermac update (or something along those lines) from the OS x auto update. Now my cursor is surrounded by the outline of a blackj rectangle about 3inches by 2 1/2 inches. Not sure how it got there but its extremely annoying. It 'follows' the cursor everywhere.
Please help!
Thanks, Mark
(sorry running Mac Mini 1.42, with OS X 10.4.8,)

Hello bingmarkbing and Welcome!!

Try this:

From the Apple menu, choose System Preferences.
From the View menu, choose Universal Access.
Click the Seeing tab.
Click Options.
Deselect "Show preview rectangle when zoomed out".
Click Done.

Give that a shot. Let us know how it works out for you! Take Care!
