Xfinity E-Mail help

Hi all. I just switched back to xfinity from frontier as my isp. The problem at hand is not a single tech at xfinity is able to tell me what my settings in my mail preferences need to be. No matter what they tell me, I still get the triangle and exclamation point signal. Thanks in advance for your help.

Thank you a million times!!!! Once I connected to the 993 port as opposed to the 995 they insisted I used, it worked like a charm. Now, where can I buy you a beer?
