Microsoft word will not open. I have the Student 2011 Office-package. Here's what it says when I try to open word. And the number of "total errors" is just going up. :(

I've tried installing it all over again, but it still won't work. Help? :frown:

No idea! But just a thought - the icon that you changed is a shortcut - have you tried opening Word from the Applications folder?
Because the icon you changed now has no bearing on it's source in Apps folder.

Exactly what did do regarding changing Word's icon? Did you make a change to the Word 2011 Icon in your Apps Folder. Please be specific about everything you think you have done right down to the smallest detail, everything is crucial for us to help you get Word 2011 working.

Did Word ever work properly before you changed it's icon?
