Window lock?

Sigh. Every few years I go looking around for some way to lock a Mac window. As in, if you hit the red button at top left of the window it will say "Are your sure?" It's just too easy to accidentally dump your work in a particular window by hitting that button, or with Command-W. I wish there were a way to protect a particular window from accidental closure. I'd use that routinely.

Hello,

I don't know of any solution that would allow you to lock a specific window. I do know there were a few apps that allowed you to size and position Finder windows automatically, but nothing that would prevent them from being closed without a prompt.
