This is so annoying. I attach it, plug it in...nothing.

Why can't anything ever just be simple? I knew a terabyte for, like, $15 was too good to be true.

This is the eBay listing: https://www.ebay.com/itm/USB-3-0-1T...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

It says "System requirements: Linux 2.4, VISTA, WindowsXP, 7,8,10, Mac OS 8.6 or later"

I have a Mac OS El X Capitan 10.11.6

Please help. Thank you.

PS: It comes with a little screwdriver ...

Hello,

A silly question, but did you purchase an mSATA SSD drive to install? That device is just the enclosure, and the mSATA SSD isn't included, which is why it was so inexpensive. The screwdriver is to open the enclosure to allow installation of the mSATA SSD. 1 TB mSATA SSDs start out around $200-250 USD.
