Viewing youtube videos

For a couple of years now I have had trouble viewing youtube videos. It started with having to go to several videos before one would play, then I could move back to the one I wanted to see.
Several months ago that workaround failed and I cannot view any youtube videos on the Imac.
I ask long ago for help to no avail.

A couple of things:

1. Can you view videos on other sites?

2. What browser are you using? Maybe try another one.

Actually I cannot view any videos using Firefox. and can view them using Safari. I do not like Safari but have to remember to use it for videos.

What about Google Chrome:

or Opera:

Both work well for me, and are faster than both Firefox and Safari.

Good luck! Opera is good also, and even though I use Chrome as my primary browser, I am getting to like Opera more and more. And it has VPN as a feature.
