Video and photos from an iPhone to a small

If I select YouTube on my iPad or iPhone, it automatically recognises my Samsung ‘ Smart ‘ tv and transmits the videos to it.
Why can’t I do that with anything on my Apple photograph and video programmes.? I have to connect a cable to achieve the same,
