To those iMac users using a solar powered keyboard and have experienced difficulty of one kind or another, i.e., start-up, keyboard shortfalls, speed of accesses as well as other irritating performance problems, I suggest increasing the amount of surrounding light around your keyboard. It made a fantastic difference in the performance of my system and literally eliminated all my performance problems.

Hello,
I had never heard of a solar powered keyboard for Mac until your post! Makes sense to have as much light around that type of keyboard, to keep the charging active. Does it make a difference if the battery is fully charged though..I wouldn't think ambient light on a charged keyboard would affect it?
