Uploading I-pod Library

I recently had computer crash and had to re-install i tunes. Now when I plug in my i-pod I get the message that it wants to erase all items from my i-pod and replace it with my new blank library from i-tunes. What I want to do is upload my i-pod music into my i-tunes library. Any help please
