Is their a upgrade available for a Mac using High Sierra, 10.13.6, mfg in late 2009.. All is good with the existing system..Can I buy a upgrade.

You don't say which Mac you have, but I can't find one that will go past 10.13 High Sierra.

Also, luckily Apple has not charged for macOS upgrades in about ten years. Also, steer clear of websites that boast methods to install later versions of macOS on unsupported devices. It can create severe reliability and security issues.
