Update states not connected to internet

Hi , Im trying to do a standard update using Mac Monterey 12.6. I am on line surfing the net but the update facility states it cannot proceed as not connected to the internet?

Hello and welcome.

Sometimes this happens if your Mac's date & time are incorrect. Also, connecting via another method can help - Ethernet instead of Wi-Fi or vice versa.

You could also try updating via Terminal: How to Update Your Mac Using Terminal

As always, it is strongly recommened to have a current Time Machine or other backup of your data.
