Update Problems! HELP!!!

I'm trying to install the Mac OS X 10.4.11 update on my PowerBookG4 and everytime I get to selecting a destination it tell me my hard drive needs 205MB of space to install it. But my hard drive has 17+GB. I don't understand and I need the update to install my new office!!! Please help!!!
