Hi everyone. This is my first post so I hope I'm on the right track here.
Each day when I open my iMac (running Sierra 10.12.6) I get the following message on my desktop 'CiscoVideoGuardMonitor quit unexpectedly'. I am using iMovie daily (version 10.1.8).
I have no idea what Cisco Video Guard is, I can't find it in applications or using Spotlight search. Consequently I can't get rid of it. I sent a report the first time it happened but since then I am just dismissing it. Any ideas please?

That is a plugin that has something to do with DirecTV. Here are the results of a google search of "Cisco Video Guard":

https://www.google.com/search?q=Cis...hrome..69i57.461j0j1&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

And this one (contained in the above) explains how to get rid of it:

Basically, you need to navigate to that directory ~/Library/Cisco/VideoGuardPlayer, delete/remove the VideoGuardPlayer, and then restart your Mac. The "~" means at the "root" directory of your Mac, ie, it is one of the 5 folders you initially see: Applications, Documents, Library, System, and Users. You would, of course, just double click on Library.
