Touch screen

Is a touch screen in the future for MacBook Air/Pro? Apple the only portable w/o one!

Only Apple can answer that one. ;)

Personally, I would tend to doubt it, as the iPad and iPad Pro are filling that need quite nicely. And with macOS/iOS/iPadOS slowly becoming more similar, who knows what will happen.

FRom one Cooper to another, THANKS! Question came up with grand daughter as she tries to select the best laptop for college. I recommended the MacBook Air which I use. She loves that but keeps wanting touch screen.

No worries...it's a great surname!

Most K-12 schools use MacBook Airs if their school/tech department supplies Macs at all - many are moving to Chromebooks because of the cost. Many college students go for a MacBook Air as well, because they are thin and light, or an iPad if they want a touch screen.
