Hopefully this is just me missing something easy. Any and all help with this issue is greatly appreciated.
Trying to connect my fairly new macpro intel duo to my uncle's motorola sb5100 with and without a linksys router.
Have tried airport and built in ethernet
gets through all the network checks and the Internet and Server stay red and failed
Having read all the posts I have tried:
reseting modem and router (in that order)
manually entered ip settings
tried auto connections
tried making apple talk active
tried restarting
I'm out of ideas. The only thing I can think of is that I have the wrong ip numbers.
I don't think it matters but he does live in canada, do i need a country code or something anywhere?
