If you have tried System Settings and are not getting the offer to upgrade, try using Terminal to search for available installers for your particular Mac. Open Terminal and enter the code:
softwareupdate --list-full-installers
The output should be something like…
Your result should have Sonoma 14.1.1 on top. Next, enter this command:
sudo softwareupdate --fetch-full-installer --full-installer-version 14.1.1
if indeed 14.1.1 was on top of the list. Enter your password and the download should start. The installer file will be located in your Applications folder. If it did not start automatically, double-click to do it. But I suggest rebooting first, and perhaps restart in Safe Mode.
