Slow booting up

When booting up I get the Apple icon, then the worm hole, and THEN, I get a long gray bar that takes forever to get done.

When it does finally get done, I get 3 icons with nests that have eggs, and 2 that have a picture of me and another of my wife and me.

Each of the nests has a different name and a different password. I do know which one I am using at the time I boot up so that is not a problem.

What the problem is: Is that when I pick the right icon and insert the password, all of the icons come back and I don't get to my page.

Any ideas what is going on?

It sounds like someone has setup additional Accounts on your Mac, this could be very bad. I recommend you take it to an AppleCare Service Centre near you.
Tread carefully you don't want to delete the wrong accounts.

Hi OP,

I second Kavemans hint, but Just out of curiosity what is the age of the Mac in question?
