Share pics by email?

I recently found no longer have the option to right-click on a jpg (or any other file), share- by email. If I click -more, there's no option to select email for sending a file. Gmail appears but its greyed-out and does not pop up as an option.
In fact, the only options that appear when I right-click - share are:
Air Drop
Add to photos
Notes
Messages
More...
When I click More... there's no extra options to add email.
Any advice please to get quick share option for emailing a file?

That was quick, I noticed my default mail server was gmail, when I switched it back to OS X mail, the share by email option returned when right-clicking a file. Sorted.
