SCREEN PROBLEM

Hi, so the photo below is my screen experiencing a weird a problem. There's a column slightly in the middle of my screen that is entirely darker (right photo) than the rest. It used to disappear once in awhile but now it's permanently there. Is there a solution for this?

I'm using a MacBook Pro 2017 (13-inch) and current OS version is Big Sur.

I sincerely apologize that we never got back to you in your previous post about this: Screen problem

That actually looks like one of the backlights in the display panel isn't working. That would require a display cable/inverter board/LCD panel replacement to fix.

My guess is it would be approximately $300-450, since it is a more expensive Retina model.
