Screen problem

So there’s a column part of my screen that is lighter than the rest. It just happened today and I don’t know how it happened.

Hi,

It's a Macbook Pro (13-inch, 2017), and its current version is Big Sur.

The photo below shows two different colours and i don't know why it's doing that.

I sincerely apologize that we never got back to you.

As I posted in your other recent post about this, that actually looks like one of the backlights in the display panel isn't working. That would require a display cable/inverter board/LCD panel replacement to fix.
