Safari crashes when pasting Facebook notes

Hi does anyone have a problem with safari crashing when you try to copy text into documents on Facebook groups?

I use various Facebook groups for various things and everytime i try to copy some text into a document safari completely crashes only to be left with the spinning beach ball.

Anyone had similar?

Yes, I am having this problem right now and it's driving me CRAZY!!!! It can handle a few letters, but a whole note? no way! I've crashed it a half dozen times now. It's a really strange and annoying crash. The program (windows, menus, location bar) remains responsive but all the page bodies gradually go blank and it won't load pages.

I haven't figured out exactly how much I can paste at one time... it could be as simple as carriage returns. I've given up and using Firefox now.

I am using Version 5.1.1 (6534.51.22)
