Safari won't work (crashes on start)

My safari has been like this for about a week now, I have no idea what's wrong with it, when I open it it just doesn't open and within a few minutes a problem report comes up. Sadly safari is the only browser I have installed so this means I can't access the internet at all, which is really frustrating. If anyone has any ideas as to what I can do to get it working I'd be very grateful

First thing I would do is a permission repair, go to your application folder then utilities folder and open disk utility. Run permission repair maybe twice.
Once done try and open Safari, if it opens click Safari in the menu bar then reset Safari.
Also please give us a little more info regarding Mac and the OS X.

What does the problem report say exactly?

Sadly safari is the only browser I have installed so this means I can't access the internet at alll

In the interim why not download another web browser, for example Firefox here, to get you back on the internet
