quick time logo with question mark

without changing any settings quicktime files on websites cant be shown anymore. instead of the previews of the file there's just a quicktime logo with a qustion mark.
what to do?

Have you done the recent QuickTime upgrade of two days ago? There were some issues with it. See this article in MacFixIt. You might want to run Disk Utility and repair permissions to see if it helps.
