Problem with window scaling when opening from Dock

So when I open Chrome from the dock all of the windows from that application scale just on top of the dock. I have a link to a screen recording displaying the behaviour. The same happens with Whatsapp Desktop app but all other apps on my mac work as they should and don't change size opened. Also this only happens when opening from dock, if I open Chrome/Whatsapp from Alfred/spotlight or just with cmd+tab it doesn't scale the windows.

Hello and welcome.

It looks like you are running the application Magnet, correct? Have you tried quitting that application, and see if the issue persists? Also, do you have Mission Control in System Preferences enabled and have those applications assigned to different Spaces?

The problem seems to be with Dockmate. I contacted their support and lets hope they can fix it. I will update if they get back to me.

Magnet doesn't effect the problem, thanks for the ideas and help.
