My M1 Mac is low on storage and I'm trying to eliminate clutter. A volume labelled Preboot is quite large at 26.7 GB, I'm wondering if I can delete or even just modify the volume without causing startup issues? using MacOS 13.2.1 (22D68)

Hello and welcome.

It is not recommended to mess with any volumes at that level, because it could easily cause startup issues.

Can you upload a screen shot/photo of the Disk Utility window, so we can see what volumes and how full they are. We can then go from there.

Also, I think I have partitioned and if so I'm not sure how to undo it.
