Making wedding table numbers with age related pictures in PowerPoint. I need to know how to get the photos to print at high resolution. Do I save the file as a pdf? Is there a menu item that I can change? The photos are 300dpi too 600dpi and 2"x3"

Hello and welcome.

PowerPoint wasn't really designed for that application, which is why it may be difficult to get the slides to print out correctly.

-Which model Mac?
-Which version of OS X/macOS?
-Which brand/model printer, or are you having them done commercially?

Mac OS Mojave 10.14.16, MacBook Air 13" Early 2015, been using Epson XP-410 all in one printer. Considering having them done commercially (don't know what file format they will require). Have read to save as JEPG, PDF or PNG. They look fine on the computer screen, but print very dark.
