Greetings and tidings my friends

Need some help or advice

I'm recovering from brain tumours and although I am physically well mentally I've lost short term memory. I used to be a techie but I've had to relearn everything.

I have a macbook that no longer boots? Seen stuff on YouTube about putting the board in the oven? Can anyone help

I have not seen this video, but I assume it is a fix for cold solder joints (heating up the solder).

What specifically is the behavior when you say it will not boot? Do you get the Apple chime?
