Help Please

    Can anyone tell me what PABAPARA is ?

    When I click on "Preferences" this pabapara comes up every time and nothing else ! I can't get rid of it and I can't get rid of it !!!!! I need to get into "preferences" to restore my lost dock, but I can't get past this problem.

    Need some advise desperately if anyone can advise me.

    From a google search, it looks like that is some kind of adware/malware. This link contains instructions for removing all the garbage associated with it:

    For the application Malwarebytes, here is the link to download it:

    Finally, whenever you want to download an application and/or an updater for it, it is best to get it directly form the developer's site, or in some cases (when applicable) from the App Store.

    Additionally, if you ever want to remove an application from your system, a good start is to use the excellent freeware program AppCleaner, available from here:

    It will find most (maybe all?) files/folders associated with an application (along, of course, with the application itself). For any left over files/folders, you can do a search of your system, either using Spotlight, or another excellent free program EasyFind, available from here:
